Events: Presentations of Learning
To encourage students to make their best effort and to provide opportunities for them to reflect on their learning, every Summer Session ends with a celebratory event called Presentations of Learning (POL’s). At this meeting, students give individual presentations outlining their accomplishments for the year and their goals for the future. A collection of First Graduate supporters, community professionals, Board members, family, friends and staff participate in facilitating the event and evaluating the students’ work.
At First Graduate, we believe in working hard and having high expectations of our students, our volunteers and ourselves.
